York Stage is a York-based theatre company comprised of both local and professional performers and production staff. It has gained a reputation for producing high-quality musicals and plays across theatres and performance spaces around York, bringing many hit shows to the City for the first time.

The aim of York Stage is to produce the best theatre in the region using talent primarily sourced locally. York Stage welcomes performers of all ages and prides itself on facilitating new talent through a varied choice of show and working with an experienced creative team.

Our Director / Producer, Nik Briggs has been running York Stage since 2014 and has built up the reputation for producing  top notch productions and has been invited to produce many of the latest West End and Broadway hits by the rights holders. Playing to packed out houses throughout York, showcasing some of the best local talent in the area, York Stage prides itself on creating high quality theatre in York for the people of York.
